Thomas S Monson - Mormon Prophet

For my entire life I have watched Thomas S Monson in his leadership roles as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS or Mormon Church), as a counselor in the First Presidency, and most recently as the president of the Church.  I have observed his unrelenting commitment to doing what he's inspired by the Holy Ghost to do.  I have been impressed by the attitude of service he exudes and the example he has set with regard to looking out for the less fortunate.

When my first son was born, I named him Spencer in honor of Thomas Spencer Monson and President Spencer W Kimball.
